Profile :

Born in Napa, California and raised in San Antonio since 1960. As a resident of Terrell Hills and a graduate of Alamo Heights I have an ever growing love and understanding for this beautiful and unique city.  With over thirty years of experience in hospitality, marketing and counseling it is my desire to help people make good, educated decisions.

Since joining Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty in 1999, I have had the privilege of success in the luxury home market as well as being a part of the Developers Services Team at KSIR.  The extent of my experience continues to be broad, from single family residence to condominium high-rise and urban development.  I have had the privilege of being a Platinum Top 50 award winner for the past four years and I consider it an honor to be among those in this group of distinguished professionals.

I am active and involved with the local community and the school as well as my church. I am a member of SABOR – San Antonio Board of Realtor, TAR – Texas Association of Realtors, TREC – Texas Real Estate Commission and the IJA (International Jugglers Association)

What motivated you to be in the real estate industry?

My father and my grandfather were both developers in San Antonio. My grandfather built many of the homes in Terrell Hills including the home that my dad grew up in. Having grown up around the real estate environment I always enjoyed watching my father do what he did. He seemed to enjoy it and made more friends than I could count and that was always intriguing to me.

What has been your most memorable transaction and why?

Selling luxury homes is very appealing and satisfying in many ways. But what I enjoy most is helping some one with a very important decision regarding their home no matter the price. It has been said that the three most stressful things in life are 1) Death of a family member 2) Divorce and 3) Moving. I deal with people who are going through at least one and sometimes all three of those circumstances. It is hard to say which transaction was the most memorable because I enjoy what I do so much that every encounter is a wonderful experience for me. I love to counsel and help people no matter what their needs are.

What has been the funniest thing happen to you while showing a listing?

I was once showing a condominium unit at La Cascada on the 11th floor during construction before the balcony railings were installed. Having been a diver in school I was never one to be afraid of heights. As I was showing the property, I would walk out to the balcony edge and describe the beautiful views while standing 11 floors up and without railings. To me it seemed very natural and I never gave it any thought until one client passed out while watching me.

What is your proudest achievement in real estate?

I am thankful to have the reputation that I have and honored to be a Platinum Top 50 member each of the past 4 years.

What one tip would you give to someone new in the industry?

People do business with people that they like and trust. You will never know too many people and your character is everything.

What is your favorite book and why?

The Book of James in the New Testement because it is concise and offers wonderful instruction for abundant living.

What do you like to do for fun?

I am an avid juggler who loves to relax by listening to music and juggling.
